How long can I keep my items in storage?
No fixed limit. Most J&J storage clients use the service for 1 to 6 months between moves, but long-term storage of 6 months to multi-year is available. Pricing is monthly with no long-term commitment, so you can extend or release on a month-to-month basis.
Are my belongings insured while in storage?
Yes. Storage includes basic coverage. Higher-value declared coverage is available on request, common for clients storing art, antiques, electronics, or specialty items. Insurance details are confirmed at booking and can be modified during the storage period.
Can you handle pickup and re-delivery from storage?
Yes. We pickup directly from your address into storage as part of a J&J move, and re-deliver to your new address when you are ready. This avoids the cost of a third-party storage facility and double-handling. Re-delivery is scheduled with 5 to 7 days of notice.
Is your storage facility climate-controlled?
Storage is clean, dry, and secure. For art, antiques, electronics, and wine that need climate control specifically, we coordinate with partner climate-controlled facilities and confirm requirements at booking. Standard household goods do not require climate-controlled storage in our facility.
Can I access my items during the storage period?
Access is available with 1 to 2 business days of notice. Most clients do not need access during storage, but for those who do we coordinate a partial pull or full retrieval. Full retrieval is treated as a small move and quoted on volume.
