How It Works
Get Your Free Estimate
Call 647-766-9257 or fill out our online form. We'll ask about your home size, move date, and any special items to give you a clear, honest quote.
We Show Up Ready
Our crew arrives on time with a fully equipped truck, moving blankets and straps. We disassemble furniture and load everything with care.
You're Settled
We unload, reassemble furniture, and place everything where you want it. We don't leave until you're satisfied and settled in.
What a Same-Day Move Actually Looks Like
You call. We ask six questions: both addresses, the building type at each end, roughly how much there is, anything unusual, and when you need to start.
That takes about five minutes, and you get a real quote at the end of it. If crews are open, dispatch is usually two to four hours out. If they're all deployed, you get the honest arrival time rather than the one you want to hear. A late crew on a same-day move is worse than a straight answer at the start.
The crew arrives with the same blankets, straps, and tools as a move booked three weeks ahead. Nothing about the equipment or the insurance changes because you called this morning, and there's no same-day surcharge, so the price is what it would have been with notice.
When Same-Day Works, and When It Doesn't
It works for one and two-bedroom apartments and condos, small offices, retail units, single-room moves, and anything already packed. Those are most of the same-day calls we take and they're a normal day's work.
It gets harder above that. A four or five-bedroom house with a garage, a basement, and nothing in boxes is not a same-day job, and anyone who says otherwise hasn't seen the house. Full homes need one to three days of notice so the right crew and the right truck are on it.
The other limit isn't us. It's your building.
In a Toronto Tower, the Elevator Is the Constraint
Trucks are easy to find on short notice. Service elevators are not.
Most condo corporations require an elevator booking and a certificate of insurance naming the corporation before a mover is allowed to load. Some will approve both in an afternoon. Some won't do it same day at all, whoever is asking, and no moving company can override that.
So on a same-day condo move the first call should be to property management, not to us. Ask two things: can the service elevator be booked today, and what do you need from the mover. Then call 647-766-9257 and we'll have the certificate over before the crew arrives.
Houses, low-rise rental apartments, and street-level retail don't have this problem, which is why same-day is usually simpler outside the towers.
The Calls We Get Most
A closing date moved and the keys change hands tomorrow.
A tenant has to be out by end of day and the movers booked weeks ago never showed up.
A landlord or property manager needs a unit cleared before a showing or an inspection.
A flood, a fire, or a repair order means the unit isn't liveable tonight.
An office lease ends Friday and the new space is ready Saturday.
None of these are planned. All of them are normal here. We're open seven days a week and we take evening and overnight work when there's notice during the day.
Have this ready when you call: both addresses, the building type at each end, bedrooms or square footage, anything heavy or fragile that needs special handling, your start time, and a phone the crew can reach on the day. Five minutes and the truck is scheduled.
